Run for Refugees - Irving

Run for Refugees 2025, hosted by the Dallas Muslim Running Club (DMRC), is a community-focused event held at Sam Houston Trail Park in Irving, Texas. The event features a chip-timed 5K race and a 1-mile fun run/walk suitable for all ages, including youth and families. Participants receive a race day T-shirt and finisher medal, with special superhero capes for youth in memory of Yousef Maarouf.

The race supports Ma'ruf Dallas, a local refugee aid organization. Race day includes food trucks, a vendor area, and a kids' zone, creating a festive atmosphere for families and supporters.
