Location, course and logistics
Races start at the Navarre Beach Boat Launch parking lot on Gulf Boulevard. The 10K and 5K use an out-and-back course along Gulf Blvd and Whitesands Blvd. The 5K has a one-hour course time limit and the 10K has a ninety-minute time limit. Packet pick-up and registration are available Friday, October 9 at Windjammers on the Pier and on race day at Windjammers near the race start. T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 350 registrants. The One Mile Fun Run is held at the Sea Turtle Conservation Center and offers awards for all participants. A post-race party and awards ceremony take place at Windjammers with music and refreshments. No refunds and no pets are allowed. Awards are handcrafted medallions by a local pottery artist; runner and walker award categories and age-group placements are specified for the event.
