Run for the Son

Run for the Son is an annual 5K run/walk held in Cartersville, Georgia, at Sam Smith Park. The event supports the Greater New Fellowship's community outreach ministry, making it a meaningful occasion for both avid runners and walkers. The scenic course starts and finishes at the Cartersville Soccer Complex, featuring a rolling loop through Pine Grove, passing Cartersville Middle School, and along Douthit Ferry Road.

Participants receive a race packet including a commemorative T-shirt and other goodies. Awards are presented to the top male, female, and child (16 and under) finishers.
