Run for Wes

Run for Wes is a charitable 5K event held in Morgantown, West Virginia, designed to raise funds for the Nugent Family following a life-changing bicycling accident. The race features a straightforward out-and-back course along a paved rail trail heading toward the Core Arboretum, covering 1.5 miles out and back. A 1-mile kids' race is also offered on the same trail.

The event fosters a supportive atmosphere, with the first 85 registrants receiving a t-shirt and awards for the top three male and female 5K finishers.
