Run for Wes

Run for Wes is a charity 5k held in Morgantown, West Virginia, on a paved rail-trail. The 5k course is an out-and-back loop toward the Core Arboretum for 1.5 miles before turning around, finishing back on the trail (roughly 3 miles). A separate 1-mile Kids Race is also offered.

Proceeds support the Nugent Family after Wes’s bicycle accident, with donations accepted for medical expenses. The event features a T‑shirt for the first 85 registrants, prizes for the top three male and female 5k finishers, and options for in-person or virtual participation.
