The race takes place on October 25, 2025 at Robinson Lake Park, 5240 S Liverpool Rd, Hobart, IN. It is hosted by Hobart Parks and Events. Two event options are offered:
- Family Fun Run - non-timed, non-paved route around Robinson Lake
- 5K - timed race with bib and chip
Race and participant information
Entry fee for each event is $25. Medals are provided to all pre-registered finishers for both the family run and the 5K. Race day on-site registration will be available with a limited number of race-day shirts and finisher medals. Tee shirts are available for purchase during registration ($15) or on the day of the race ($20).
The 5K will award prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall and give awards by age group: 18-20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. A costume contest is sponsored by Play It Again Sports. Organizers encourage glow items and will have glow stations; participants are advised to bring a headlamp or flashlight because trails may be dark. The event includes a beer garden, a food truck (Tocayos), entertainment, photo opportunities, and scare characters on the trails. No dogs, strollers, bicycles, in-line skates, scooters, or wheeled vehicles are allowed on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
