Witches in the Woods 5K

The Witches in the Woods 5K/2K is a Halloween-themed nighttime running and walking event held at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Crown Point, Indiana. Participants can choose between a timed 5K run or a non-timed 2K walk through wooded trails and roads, so bringing flashlights or headlamps is recommended. The event features finisher medals for the first 200 registrants, awards for top finishers, and prizes for best costumes.

Alongside the race, attendees enjoy the Hometown Hocus Pocus Market with live music, food, craft drinks, trick-or-treating, costume contests, and performances by the Sanderson Sisters from "Hocus Pocus."
