Run Mahomet

Run Mahomet is an annual running event held in Mahomet, Illinois, celebrating its 30th year in 2025. The event features USATF certified courses for 5K, 10K, and half marathon distances, all primarily flat and considered fast. It also includes a Main Street Mile held on the Friday before the main races.

Participants can choose to run in-person or virtually, with virtual runners able to submit times for rankings and receive finisher medals and shirts by mail. The race supports the Mahomet Area Youth Club, a nonprofit focused on youth education and community programs. Awards are given to top finishers across various age groups.
