Run Mahomet

Run Mahomet is an annual running event held in Mahomet, Illinois, celebrating its 30th year in 2025. The event features USATF certified courses for 5K, 10K, and half marathon distances, all primarily flat and considered fast. It supports the Mahomet Area Youth Club, a nonprofit focused on youth education and community programs.

Participants can run in-person or virtually, with virtual runners receiving finisher medals and shirts by mail. The event also includes a Main Street Mile race. Awards are given to top finishers by age groups, and technical shirts are guaranteed for early registrants.
