Race information
The 5K is a timed race that starts and finishes at the Chamber office and follows a route through historic downtown Royse City, passing local landmarks, Old City Park, and the Hidden Creek area. The 1 Mile is a fun walk/run that is untimed. An award ceremony will be held at Cookston Court on Main Street. Awards for the 5K include overall top male and female and top male and female in age divisions: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
Registration fees (selected): 5K early price $40 until 10/31/2025; later registration tiers apply. 1 Mile early price $20 until 10/31/2025; standard registration fees apply thereafter. 5K participants receive a finisher medal and a race shirt; long-sleeve dri-fit shirts require registration by 11/15, otherwise cotton shirts may be provided while supplies last. 1 Mile participants may order a shirt for a fee if ordered by 11/15. Race day registration and packet pickup are available; packet pickup location and exact times are listed as TBD. Strollers are permitted, listening to music is allowed, and this event does not allow refunds. Proceeds fund the Royse City Emerging Leaders and local community projects.
