About the race
Run Sunset Beach is a Coastal Race Productions event in Sunset Beach, North Carolina. The weekend offers a Half Marathon (13.1 miles), 10K, 5K, and a 1 Mile loop, finishing at the waterfront park on the mainland. The course features scenic views across the intracoastal waterway bridge, a tour around Sunset Beach’s island and mainland, and a golf-course backdrop, with aid stations and enthusiastic volunteers along the way.
A hallmark is the Big Ass Medal (BAM) series, with oversized finishers’ medals and unique shirts for most distances. Post-race includes BBQ and beer in a celebratory atmosphere. Great for locals and visitors alike. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
