Run the Mission: Race to End Tuberculosis
The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2026, in San Antonio, TX 78235. It is organized by the Volunteer Services Council (VSC) of TCID. The VSC states its mission is to improve quality of life for patients with Tuberculosis and Hansen's disease and for the staff who serve them by creating partnerships, promoting advocacy initiatives, and bridging community resources.

Entry fees vary by registration date: an early rate of $35, a later rate of $40, and $45 on race day. Online registration closes October 16 at 11:59 PM, and in-person registration will be available. Event shirts are limited; signing up by September 27 is listed as the guarantee deadline. Packet pick-up details are to be determined.
The 1 Mile Run/Walk will start after the 5K has cleared the start line. Timing and scoring will be provided by RaceTimerz, LLC using reusable RFID shoe tags; participants are asked to wear their bibs visible and pinned at all four corners. Results will be available at a result kiosk at the race and online. Awards for 5K runners are listed for top overall male and female and for male/female in age groups 0-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+; walkers are not eligible for awards.
