About the race
Run the Rockies Trail Race in Frisco, Colorado offers 5k, 10k, and half marathon distances on the scenic Frisco Peninsula trails, with views of Dillon Reservoir and the Ten Mile Range. The start and finish are at the Frisco Nordic Center. The course blends single-track and dirt roads, looping counter-clockwise for 2026 and finishing along Dillon Reservoir’s lakeshore for all distances; the half marathon includes new single-track sections.
Runners enjoy a well-marked course with course marshals and aid stations for the 10k and half (two and three stations, respectively). A post-race party features beer, food, music, and a commemorative gift. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
