The Summit 200

The Summit 200 is a challenging 200-mile mountain ultramarathon held in Summit County, Colorado. The race features a single large loop primarily on stunning hiking trails, forest roads, recreation paths, and some pavement, with elevations ranging from over 9,000 feet to nearly 13,000 feet. Participants face approximately 40,000 feet of elevation gain and loss, with long aid station intervals and limited crew access, emphasizing self-sufficiency.

The event caps at 100 runners to maintain a small-race atmosphere, offering amenities like 12 aid stations, 4 sleep stations, hot food options, professional photography, live GPS tracking, and exclusive finisher swag including Patagonia jackets and buckles.
