The Summit 200

Website Registration

The Summit 200 is a single, non-repetitive 200‑mile loop around Summit County, Colorado, centered near Frisco. The mostly non-urban route uses single-track trails, forest roads, and some rec paths and pavement, with the lowest altitude above 9,000 ft and sections climbing toward 12,800 ft, plus 12 full aid stations. Runners log about 40,000 ft of elevation gain and endure long stretches without aid; crew-access is limited, with first crew areas around 70 miles.

The race caps at 100 runners and carries an 110-hour cutoff. Highlights include live GPS tracking, professional photos, and extensive swag for finishers, plus a finishing buckle and Patagonia jacket. Runners must carry required gear and be self-sufficient along long segments. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
