Features and amenities
The 5K is chip-timed with live results. The course is described as well-marked and supported by course marshals, with water stations along the route and bananas and water at the finish. Awards are given to the Top 3 overall and to male and female age-group winners in categories of 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, and every 10 years after that. Walkers and participants of all ages are welcome; registration is required for walkers and children, and walkers start behind the 5K runners.
Finishers receive a Run the Vineyards stemless wine glass and a custom high-quality T-shirt; a women's racerback tank top is available as a $5 upgrade. A complimentary glass of wine is provided to finishers aged 21 and over with ID. A live musician performs immediately after the race, and food and wine will be available for purchase. Finisher medals are optional for purchase for $8 during registration or $10 on the day of the event. Free downloadable race and after-party photos will be available.
