The 14th annual Run Turkey Run takes place on November 27, 2025 in Burlington, KY at England-Idlewild Park (5550 Idlewild Rd.). The event is organized by Burlington Baptist Church and includes both a 5K run and a 5K walk.

Course and logistics
The course is an out-and-back 5K that takes place entirely inside the park. Parking is free. Chip timing will be used with MyLaps disposable bib tags; runners do not need to return timing chips. Finisher medals are awarded to the first 250 finishers. The top three overall men and top three overall women will receive a turkey; an awards ceremony follows the race. All results, including age-group placements, will be posted online.
Race proceeds benefit the Burlington Student Mission Projects; participants are asked to bring canned or non-perishable food items for the Saving Grace Food Pantry. All registration for 2025 is online only; race day registration is online and cash is not accepted. Registration fees through November 16 are $27 for adults and $17 for youths 14 and under. Fees from November 17 through race day are $32 for adults and $22 for youths 14 and under. T-shirts are optional and available for $13 while supplies last. There are no refunds.
