The MCRRC Run Under the Lights takes place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Seneca Creek State Park in Gaithersburg, MD. The event is organized by the City of Gaithersburg in partnership with the Montgomery County Road Runners Club. The event is a 5K Run/Walk held during the park's Winter Lights Festival, which features more than 380 illuminated vignettes and 65 animated displays.
Race logistics
Runners and walkers will use the roads through Seneca Creek State Park. Roads will be closed to regular traffic except for emergency vehicles and race management vehicles. Race registration includes entry to the park and on-site parking is free of charge. The race is sold out and a waitlist is in effect; waitlist, transfer, and refund deadlines will be strictly adhered to.
