Run With the Bears: Extreme Vertical Pursuit
Run with the Bears: Extreme Vertical Pursuit is an annual running event held at Bear Lake Reserve in Tuckasegee, North Carolina, set amidst the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains. The race features three distances: a challenging 10K with 1,322 feet of elevation gain, a 5K with 954 feet of climbing, and a 1-Mile Fun Run suitable for families. Starting and finishing at The Summit, the highest point on the property, runners experience breathtaking mountain views and a course that winds through a nine-hole golf course.
Participants receive commemorative water bottles, and top finishers earn trophies and prizes, including stays and activities at Bear Lake Reserve. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
