Run Your Mutt 5K Run
The Run Your Mutt 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk/Run is a family-friendly event held at Kefauver Park in Madisonville, Tennessee. Sponsored by Monroe County Friends of Animals, this event supports homeless and abandoned dogs and cats in the area. Participants can choose between a 5K run or a 1-mile walk/run on a paved path around the park's lake.
Dogs are encouraged to join but not required. The race features timing by East Coast Adventures, medals for the top three male and female finishers, and all participants receive a T-shirt and swag bag. Adopters from Monroe County Animal Shelter get a special alumni bandana for their dogs.
