Rustic Run

The Rustic Run is an annual running event held at Gilroy Rustic Park in Lost Nation, Iowa. Scheduled for July 19, 2025, it features two race distances: a 1-mile loop entirely within town and a more challenging 4-mile loop combining pavement and gravel surfaces with some hills. Known as a classic Iowa footrace with a history spanning nearly four decades, the event attracts competitive runners, including some of the state's top athletes.
