Event overview
Saint Nick Six is a community running event hosted by Saint Joseph Grade School in South Bend, Indiana. The 2025 edition is the 15th running of the event and raises funds for the school excellence fund. The course starts at the grade school and follows South Bend’s east bank trail north to Holy Cross College and back. Each paid participant receives a long-sleeve black tech shirt; all 6k and 3k Run finishers receive a custom participant medal.

Logistics and rules
Packet pick-up and late registration occur the day before and the morning of the race at the Saint Joseph Ackels Life Parish Center (711 E Colfax Ave). To be guaranteed a shirt, registration must be completed by Friday, November 14. The courses close one hour after the start of the event. Professional chip timing is used for the competitive events; the Run Run Rudolph .06k and the 3k Walk are noncompetitive and have no chip timing.
Awards are given to overall male and female winners and to top finishers in age categories for the 6k Run; the 3k Run has overall awards and limited age groups. Pets are not allowed. Strollers are allowed only on the 3k Walk and must yield to runners. Volunteers receive a custom knit cap. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
