Event overview
The San Pasqual Valley Trail Race takes place on February 21, 2026, at the San Pasqual Staging Lot, 18194 Bandy Canyon Rd, Escondido, CA. This is the 9th annual running of the event set in San Diego wine country. The event is limited to 450 runners. The Half Marathon acts as the final Championship Qualifier for that distance.
Courses and logistics
- 20 Mile - out-and-back, summits Raptor Ridge twice
- Half Marathon (13.1 mi) - out-and-back, summits Raptor Ridge twice
- 10K (6.2 mi) - relatively flat course
Runners follow trails through vineyards and orange groves in San Pasqual Valley. A free wine tasting provided by local vineyards is offered at the finish area. Parking for runners, spectators, volunteers, and staff is at the San Pasqual trailhead lot, with overflow parking a short, walkable distance down the street. Packet pickup is scheduled February 19 at Fleet Feet San Diego, 5980 Village Way, San Diego; a pickup location for February 20 is to be announced.
