Event overview
The Santa Fe International Half Marathon is a multi-event running weekend in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The event takes place in September and includes a half marathon, a 3-person relay, a 4K run, and a free kids 1K for ages 3 to 14. The half marathon is a point-to-point, 13.1-mile course that runs from Eldorado (La Tienda Plaza) along Old Las Vegas Highway to the Railyard. The half marathon has a 3 hour 30 minute cutoff. The event partners with the Kitany Water Project to support access to clean water in underserved communities.

Race weekend includes a Health and Wellness Expo with product demonstrations, expert advice from nutrition and fitness professionals, free samples, and event registration and packet pick up. A kids indigo T-shirt workshop for ages 3–14 is offered as a hands-on activity. On race day there is a bag drop service that transports labeled bags from the start to the finish and a free shuttle from the Santa Fe Railyard Park to the Eldorado start; no return shuttle is provided. Awards recognize the top three overall male and female finishers and top three in each age group. A post-race celebration is listed at Nuckolls Brewing Company in Santa Fe.
