Event overview
The Santa Hat 5K & 1M Family Fun Run/Walk is scheduled for December 7, 2025, at Ala Moana Beach Park in Honolulu, HI. The event includes a 5K family run/walk and a 1-mile keiki (kids) run. The 1-mile race is intended to be a timed keiki event with awards by gender and age group.
- 5K: Family fun run/walk with stroller division and family pricing
- 1 Mile: Timed keiki run; age groups Under 5, 5-9, 10-14
Logistics and entries
Entry options and listed fees include a primary family member registration for the 5K at $40, additional family member registration at $25, a stroller division at $40, and the 1M kids run at $25. Awards for the 5K include top 3 overall male and female finishers and top 3 male and female finishers in 5-year age groups. The 1M awards include top 3 overall boy and girl finishers and age-group awards.
All finishers receive a Santa Hat keepsake. A Santa Hat shirt is offered for sale during registration. Packet pick up is available the day before at the Running Room (819 Kapahulu, Honolulu HI) and on race day at the registration tent at the course. The event is a fundraiser for the Salvation Army.
