Santa Scramble 5K : Concord, NC
The Santa Scramble 5K takes place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in downtown Concord, NC. The event is part of the Concord Christmas parade and is a destination race, with a different start and finish location. The race distance is 5K. The event is presented by Leigh Brown & Associates and One Community Real Estate. Chip timing is provided by Agape Timing. Long-sleeve event shirts are available; the guaranteed shirt deadline is November 1, 2025. Runners are asked not to wear Santa Claus suits.
Logistics, registration and awards
Race day packet pickup and race day registration are at Concord High School Auxiliary Gym, 481 Burrage Rd NE. Early packet pickup is at David W. Phillips Activity Center, 946 Burrage Road NE, on the day before the race. Parking and shuttles are organized because race streets are blocked for parade traffic; buses will transport participants from the Concord High School parking lot to the start line and will shuttle runners from J.W. (Mickey) McGee Park back to Concord High School. The start line is located on Church Street between Pinnacle Financial Partners and Wells Fargo Bank (near Lake Concord Rd). The finish is at J.W. (Mickey) McGee Park greenway, first shelter, 219 Corban Ave SE.
General registration lists a base price of $25 with an early discounted rate of $17 available through early September.
