Santa Scramble
The Santa Scramble 5K is a fast-paced running event held annually in downtown Concord, North Carolina. Scheduled for November 22, 2025, the race serves as a prelude to the Concord Christmas Parade. It is a destination race, starting near the former 5/3 Bank on Church Street and finishing at J.W.
(Mickey) McGee Park on the greenway. Participants are shuttled from Concord High School, the main packet pickup and parking location, to the start line. The event features chip timing, age group awards, and team and school registration incentives with cash prizes.
Long-sleeve shirts are provided, and runners are asked not to wear Santa suits to keep the parade experience special for children. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
