About the race
Santa's Run Fest, presented by the Winter Haven Optimist Club, is a family-focused running event in Winter Haven, Florida. It features a 15k (new in 2025), 10k, 5k, and a Kids Run (12 & under). The course is an out-and-back on the Chain of Lakes Trail through Winter Haven, with the 15k extending to Lake Alfred.
The event emphasizes community and kid-friendly participation, offering custom shirts, bibs, and finisher medals, plus sponsor goodies. Runners can form teams (Family, Corporate, or Social/Church/School) to compete for Largest and Fastest Team honors.
