Event overview
The Saratoga 5K Fun Run/Walk is presented by the Saratoga Education Foundation and takes place in Saratoga, CA on November 2, 2025. The event is the fourth annual edition and previously drew over 700 participants. Proceeds support programs in the Saratoga Union School District, including elementary MakerSpace, science labs, parent workshops, and grade-level field trips. Course, races and logistics

- Kids Dash - ages 5 and under, 0.25 mi
The 5K starts and ends at Redwood Middle School and uses neighborhood streets on Allendale and Harleigh. The Kids Dash is a single lap on the Redwood field, is untimed, and is free; Kids Dash participants receive a goodie bag with refreshments and souvenirs but not a T-shirt.
Registration fees (early bird through October 1): youth (18 and under) $20, adult (19 and over) $30. Fees from October 2 onward: youth $35, adult $45. Fees include custom T-shirts and post-race refreshments; T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed for orders placed after September 30. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
A post-race festival will include food trucks, awards, raffles, games, a DJ, and information tables. Awards are given to the top three finishers in age groups: 6-8, 9-11, 12-14, 15-25, 26-45, and 46 & over. No dogs are allowed on the campus or race course. Early packet pickup is available on the Saturday before the event. Free parking is provided at West Valley College, Lot #3. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
