About the race
ZombieRunner Halloween is held at Hellyer County Park (Buena Vista Pavilion) in San Jose, CA, along the Coyote Creek trail. The event features distances of 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon, plus youth options: 5K for under 12, 5K and 10K for ages 13-17, and a free Kid's Run (6 and younger, 50 yd). The Half Marathon and Marathon courses are USATF-certified; 5K/10K are asphalt-dominated, with a small amount of single-track on longer routes.
Runners dress in Halloween costumes to win prizes. Courses are well-marked, aid stations are cupless, and finishers receive medals and shirts; top finishers earn awards and race credits. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
