About the race
San Antonio, Texas hosts the SARR Great Greenway Marathon Relay, a 26.2-mile point-to-point team event along the Howard Peak Greenway System. The course runs from Mainland Trail Head to the McAllister Dog Park Trailhead, weaving through shaded parks along the Leon and Salado creeks at the edge of the Texas Hill Country. Teams of 2 to 5 runners cover five relay legs ranging 4.5–6.5 miles, with baton handoffs at designated trailheads.
