Event overview
Save the Drama for your Llama is a six-hour trail run held on April 4, 2026, at Luhr County Park, 3178 S County Road 150 W, La Porte, IN 46350. Participants try to complete as many loops as possible within the six-hour period. The course loop is about 1.7 miles in length. Overall female and male winners are determined by the most miles completed during the six hours.
Course and rules
The course is marked with flags and signs. Loops are recorded as runners return to the start/finish area, and only fully completed loops within the six-hour period count. Runners may stop, take breaks, and refuel during the event. Bibs must be worn on the front of the shirt for loop checking. Items from the organizer’s other races, such as t-shirts and hats, will be available for sale for $5. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
