Event overview
The 22nd Annual Save the Manatee 5K is scheduled for November 15, 2025, at Blue Spring State Park in Orange City, Florida. This is the first year the in-person event is held in Florida. The in-person course starts and finishes at the state park and follows the scenic, flat Spring-to-Spring Trail adjacent to the park. The event includes both an in-person 5K Run/Walk and virtual participation from anywhere in the world. Virtual participants may choose their activity and distance, including run, walk, bike, swim, kayak, scuba, or hike.
Registration, logistics and awards
In-person registration is sold out and no race day registration will be accepted. Packet pickup is available in the days before the event at Front Running Sports in Lake Mary and also on race day. Park admission is included with race registration. Registered participants receive a unisex cotton/poly blend T-shirt, a custom finisher medal and a race bib; virtual entries include shipping. Children 12 and under who attend in person receive a small manatee plush. The race will be timed and scored with a disposable chip attached to the back of the bib and results will be posted online. Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three finishers in each age group. Proceeds benefit Save the Manatee Club.
