Sawnee Mountain

Dirty Spokes Sawnee Mountain is the 17th annual trail run at Sawnee Mountain Preserve in Cumming, Georgia, part of the Dirty Spokes Trail Run Series presented by Automation Direct. It offers two distances, 4.0 and 3.1 miles, on single- and double-track trails through forested terrain with sections. The course starts on asphalt near the trailhead, enters the woods, and follows a clockwise route with a split around 1.35 miles.

A water station around mile 2.3 and views along the climb accompany runners. Race caps at 325 participants; walkers are welcome, but official times require about a 16-minute mile pace, with a 'ditch the city' vibe. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
