Event overview
The Schoolhouse Hustle Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at CREST School, 2600 S Panther Pride Dr., Lecanto, FL. It is the 13th annual event and is part of the Education Foundation’s "Educational Fitness" month to raise money for public education. The event offers in-person and virtual options.

Registration, logistics and awards
General entry prices listed are: 10K $35, 5K $25, 1 Mile $25, Virtual $25. Student and employee fees are listed separately: 5K/1M students 12 and under $5, students 13-18 $10, adults $25, CCSB employees $20; 10K students 12 and under $10, students 13-18 $15, adults $35, CCSB employees $30. Prices increase after April 7, 2026. Early packet pickup is scheduled at Gulf to Lake Marine & Trailers in Lecanto; day-of packet pickup and registration are available at the race site. Course maps are provided for the 5K and 10K. Bus transportation to and from the race site will be available from Citrus County schools for registered students and families if signed up by April 8.
All participants receive an event shirt and a finisher medal. Awards include overall male/female, masters (40+) male/female, and medals three deep in five-year age groups plus youth age categories. The event includes a school spirit contest with two $1,000 grants and a group award for the company or organization with most participants.
