About the race
SCREAMER RUN 2025 is a Halloween-inspired running event on the California State University Bakersfield campus in Bakersfield, California. The evening races include a 5K and 10K, plus a Kids Trick or Treat Run (about 1 mile) and a Virtual Run. Start/finish at Alumni Park on Don Hart East Drive between Stockdale Hwy and Kroll Way.
Participants race at sundown along fright-filled routes, embracing a spooky atmosphere with music, food, raffle prizes, a vendor fair, a beer garden, and event swag. A Team Competition and a dedicated kids’ zone add extra excitement. Proceeds support AdaptiSport and CSUB Students with Disabilities program.
