About the race
The Sea Rim Striders' Annual Turkey Trot is a festive running event held in Beaumont, Texas, at The Event Centre on Thanksgiving morning. Celebrating its 35th year, the race offers multiple distances including a USATF-certified 5K and 10K, as well as Kids K races for children 12 and under, including special needs and adaptive athlete categories. The course runs through downtown Beaumont, providing a community-focused atmosphere.
Participants receive race swag such as shirts and finisher medals, with chip timing for the 5K and 10K. The event supports local charities, with the 2024 race benefiting the Vidor Hope House.
