Shades of Hope 5K

AdventHealth Waterman Shades of Hope 5K is held at Lake Yale Baptist Conference Center in Leesburg, Florida. The event offers an in-person 5K on a looped course, a free Kid’s Run for ages 6 and under, and a Virtual 5K. Proceeds benefit the AdventHealth Waterman Foundation’s cancer-care initiatives, funding patient assistance, screening tests, and wellness plans across North Lake and South Sumter Counties.

The community celebration honors cancer survivors, those currently fighting, and their loved ones under the theme “Every Ribbon Tells a Story.” A course map is available online, and sponsorships support the cause. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
