Shallowater Stampede

The Shallowater Stampede is a running event organized by the West Texas Running Club, held annually since 1988 in Shallowater, Texas. The event features a 2-mile run/walk for participants aged 7 and older, and a 10K run for those aged 13 and above. The race is dedicated to the memory of Larry Byrd, who passed away in 2017.
