About the race
Sisters Country is a spring trail race weekend in Sisters, Oregon, organized by Alpine Running. The event offers two distances—50K and Half Marathon—both starting and finishing at Village Green Park in the heart of Sisters. The 50K features about 2,400 feet of climb and descent on mostly single-track trails (85%) with 15% gravel road, delivering views of the Cascade Peaks and the Three Sisters.
The Half Marathon is smoother, with about 700 feet of climbing and 95% single-track, running among Ponderosa Pines with two aid stations. After the race, participants enjoy a burrito bar and Cascade Lakes beer; proceeds benefit Ridgeview High School XC. Lodging via Left Coast Lodge; dogs not allowed on course.
