The Skinnydipper Sun Run is a clothing-optional 5K held at Wildwood Naturist's Resort in Decatur, TX on April 25, 2026. The course is cross-country and includes ravines, logs, gravel roads, trails through woods, and open meadows. Cameras are not permitted on site. For safety, no pets, bicycles, strollers, baby joggers, or in-line skates are allowed on the course. The resort opens to members and runners only; non-runners may enter if listed as volunteers and will be assigned roles such as course monitor or aid station worker.
Entry, timing, awards and race-day services
Advance entry fees are $30 on or before April 11, 2026, and $35 from April 12 to April 24, 2026; a technical t-shirt is available for an additional $10. There is no day-of-race registration. Packet pick-up is in person on race day only. The race will be chip-timed and awards are based on gun time. Awards are given to overall male and female, masters (40+), grand masters (50+), senior grand masters (60+), and the top three in each age group; overall winners do not also receive age-group awards. After the race, complimentary snacks and refreshments will be provided and a BBQ dinner is offered at no additional charge. A prize drawing for a one-year Wildwood membership will be held; winners must be present. Runners are asked to bring a towel for etiquette at seating and for pool or shower use.
