Slate Run Trail Race : June 6, 2026, Slate Run, PA
The event offers two distances on natural trails in Tiadaghton State Forest. It passes through the Algerine Wild Area and the Red Run sections of the Black Forest Trail. The terrain includes technical single track, stream crossings, and notable vistas.
- 25K
- Half Marathon
Course details and cut-offs
Both distances follow the same route for the first 9 miles. At the Manor Fork camps the Half Marathon route follows the road to the last aid station and then to the finish. 25K runners continue on the trail along the streambed and then up Old Supply Trail. The organizer states the 9-mile section has one big hill and the rest is runnable; the cut-off for reaching the mile 9 intersection is 12 noon. After that time all participants will be directed onto the Half course. Half Marathon runners must be through the Manor Camp intersection by 1 pm or they will be removed from the course.
