Smith Rock Classic
The Smith Rock Classic is a springtime trail running event held near Terrebonne, Oregon, at Skull Hollow, showcasing the stunning Smith Rock State Park and surrounding Crooked River Grasslands. It features three race distances: 50 miles, 50K, and 10 miles. The courses offer a mix of high desert terrain and scenic views of basalt cliffs and the Cascade mountain range.
The 50-mile race consists of two 25-mile loops with 7,500 feet of elevation gain, mostly on single-track trails. The 50K covers 4,500 feet of gain, including the challenging Misery Ridge climb. The 10-mile race ascends Gray Butte, providing spectacular vistas.
