SML Turkey Trot

The SML Turkey Trot is a family-friendly running event held annually at Smith Mountain Lake State Park in Huddleston, Virginia. Scheduled for Thanksgiving Day, it features a scenic 5K race on an asphalt course suitable for both runners and walkers, along with a kids' 1-mile run. Hosted by LAT Wellness Studio, the event offers prizes for top runners and the best dressed turkey family, encouraging festive participation.
