About the race
The SMWL Monster Mash 5k is a scenic, flat, and paved running event held along the Indian Head Rail Trail in White Plains, Maryland. The course features an out-and-back route through woods and alongside creeks, providing a pleasant natural atmosphere. Participants receive a finisher’s medal, a technical Drifit event shirt, and chip timing.
The race supports the Southern Maryland Women’s League, benefiting community programs for women, children, and families. A virtual race option is available for those unable to attend in person.
