Event overview

The Snowball 5K is scheduled for December 13, 2025, at Etowah River Park, 600 Brown Industrial Pkwy, Canton, GA. The event offers both in-person and virtual options. Distances:

The course is USATF certified and is being measured and filed under the Atlanta Snowball Series. Each finisher receives a custom race bib and a long sleeve race shirt. Participants may choose to have the long sleeve mailed for an additional fee. True Speed Photo will take race photos that can be downloaded for free after the event. Food at the finish includes a donut bar, a hot chocolate bar with toppings, and coffee. A finisher time can be used to qualify for The Atlanta Journal & Constitution Peachtree Road Race.

Logistics, policies and awards

On-course support includes course marshals and directional arrows. There are no on-course aid stations; water will be available at the start/finish area. Strollers are allowed but should start toward the back of the field. Dogs are not allowed at the event. Registration fees vary by date, with an in-person price schedule that includes a race-day rate and a virtual option at a listed fee. No refunds are offered; entries may be transferred through December 7, 2025, with a processing fee. Races will be held in most weather conditions; cancellation for severe weather is possible, and no refunds will be given for weather cancellations.
