Event overview
The Snowball 5K is a 5-kilometer race held on December 13, 2025, at Etowah River Park, 600 Brown Industrial Pkwy, Canton, GA. The course is USATF certified and routes through Etowah River Park. Finish times from the race can be used to qualify for The Atlanta Journal & Constitution Peachtree Road Race. Each finisher receives a custom race bib and a Snowball 5K log sleeve shirt. True Speed Photo will take race photos that participants can download for free after the event.

Logistics, amenities and policies
On-site amenities include a donut bar, a hot chocolate bar with toppings, and coffee at the finish area. There will be course marshals and directional arrows on course. There are no on-course aid stations; water will be available at the start/finish area. Dogs are not allowed. Strollers are permitted but are asked to start toward the back of the field.
Registration pricing for the in-person 5K ranges from $30 to $40 depending on date; the virtual 5K is $30. There is an option to have the long sleeve mailed for an additional $10. No refunds are offered; entries may be transferred through December 7, 2025, with a $3 processing fee. Races are held rain, snow, or shine and will only be canceled for severe weather or unsafe road/course conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
