Sorta Mountain Stage Race

Sorta Mountain Stage Race, held in Borden, Indiana, offers several Knobstone Trail distances: 5-mile, trail half marathon, 18-mile Ultimate 18, and a new 50K option. The 5-mile course is a loop with a turnaround at mile 2.5; the half is out-and-back to the summit of Round Top Knob; the 18-mile course is an out-and-back on Knobstone, including Jackson Trailhead; the 50K combines the half and Ultimate 18 for a true ultramarathon. The single-track trail is rugged, with rocks, roots and steep escarpments up to Round Top Knob.

Aid stations at mile 2.5 and 5.3; finishers receive medals as proceeds benefit SAM'S FOUNDATION. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
