Event details
The Swags 10K is scheduled for Thursday, January 1, 2026, at Iroquois Park in Louisville, KY (5216 New Cut Rd, 40214). The event offers two distances:
- 10K
- 1 Mile Fun Run
General entry pricing is listed as $10 for race entry. An additional option at $35 includes a race shirt and a collaboration bracelet. A $10 add-on is available for race day packet pickup. The 10K is open to ages 10 and older. Registration for the 1 Mile closes on the day of the event.
Course and purpose
The course starts and finishes near the amphitheater and event plaza. The routed loop runs clockwise around the park, passes the golf course section, and goes up Uppill Rd to Toppill Rd where there is a U-turn. Net proceeds benefit a nonprofit foundation focused on three areas: providing shoes and gear to increase youth access to running, partnering with local organizations to expand community running and wellness programs, and supporting international work with a Kenyan-linked foundation that focuses on education, nutrition, and sustainable farming. The event also includes a "Resolution Row" area where ten local run clubs and community groups will set up information and giveaways; spaces are free for clubs on a first come, first serve basis.
