The South Metro SWAT 5k and Fun Run is scheduled for Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Legacy Park, 1898 Legacy Park Drive, Norman, OK 73072. Members of the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office, Moore Police Department, Norman Police Department, Norman Fire Department, and Norman Regional EMSTAT are listed as participating. Entry, awards and logistics
The event offers several entry options with different fees and deadlines. Available options include 5K entry with or without a T-shirt, a 1-mile Fun Run/Walk with a T-shirt, and a 5K entry for high school and below with an optional T-shirt. Some prices increase after October 31, 2025, and two events have registration that ends December 5, 2025. All participants receive a commemorative South Metro SWAT poker chip.
Awards for the 5K include first-place medals for each age group and gender. Age groups listed for the 5K are 15 and under; 16-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; and 70+.
