Event details
The Southern Utah Half Marathon takes place on March 28, 2026, in Washington, Utah. The event includes a Half Marathon and a Wheelchair Half Marathon. It is part of the Underground Runner Series. The race offers a registration giveaway: a free headband to the first 500 people who register.
All participants receive a Southern Utah Half Marathon T-shirt. Runners who complete the race within four hours receive a finisher medal. Awards are given to the top three in each age division, and the top five men and women overall receive gift cards to the St. George Running Center.
Course and logistics
The course starts at Highland Park in Washington, UT, and proceeds downhill through the City of Washington to the Virgin River Trail. The route drops for the first 4 miles, then follows the paved Virgin River Trail with a gradual decline for the remaining 9 miles.
Aid stations are located at the Starting Line, 2.25, 4, 6, 8.5, 10.5, 11.75 and 13.1 mile markers. All aid stations provide water and Gatorade. Aid Stations 6 and 10 also offer GU.
