Spooky Pooch 5K : event overview
The Spooky Pooch 5K is an animal-focused running and fun-walk event in Atlanta, GA on October 26, 2025. The in-person event includes a post-race village with vendors, music, entertainment, costume contests for humans and pets, and awards for top finishers. Proceeds benefit LifeLine Animal Project.

- 5K (timed; ages 8+)
- 1 Mile Fun Run (all ages)
A virtual participation option is available for those who cannot attend in person. Chip timing will be used for official race results. Light snacks and water will be provided for registered participants after the event.
Registration, fees and logistics
All participants, human and dog, must be registered. A dog add-on is available for $10 and includes a bandana; only one dog is allowed per registered human and waivers are required. Fun Run registration is limited to 100 entries and does not include a finisher medal. In-person 5K registrations include a timing chip, race bib, finisher’s medal, and event T-shirt; virtual registrations include a T-shirt and medal with domestic shipping and may take several days or weeks to arrive.
Packet pick-up is offered early at LifeLine's Community Animal Center (3180 Presidential Dr, Atlanta, GA 30340) and on race day near the start at Chastain Park.
