Event overview
The Spring Fling 5k takes place on March 21, 2026 in Cabot, Arkansas (401 N. Lincoln St, Cabot, AR 72023). The event is hosted by the Cabot Country Cruisers and marks the race's 30th anniversary. Distances offered:

- 1 km (Kids Run, ages 1-12)
Pre-registration prices listed are $30 for the 5K and $15 for the 1K. Race-day registration is available only if the 5K cap of 500 runners has not been reached; race-day fees are $35 for the 5K and $20 for the 1K, payable by cash or check. Pre-registration on RunSignUp closes on March 19, 2026. At the time shown, spot counts were available for each event.
Packet pickup is available Friday, March 20, 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Cabot High School Fine Arts Auditorium. Additional packet pickup on race morning is scheduled; participants must pick up packets before the stated race-morning cutoff or they will not be permitted to race. Participants may pick up packets for others with a copy or picture of that person’s photo ID.
Course, facilities and rules
The course starts on Bellamy Street just outside the Cabot High School Field House and finishes on the Cabot High School track. The route proceeds south on Bellamy, turns onto Main Street and passes through tree-lined residential streets including Honeysuckle Lane and Linda Lane, includes a small loop on G Street, then returns to the stadium via the field house parking lot and ramp onto the track. The course is USATF certified (AR22001WJT).
Pre-race waiting, packet pickup, and the awards ceremony take place in the Fine Arts Auditorium; restrooms are available inside the stadium and auditorium but not at the starting line. No strollers or dogs are allowed on the course. Proceeds benefit physical education in Cabot Schools, Cabot Family Track Nights, and a high school scholarship.
