Event overview
The Statesboro 5K Turkey Trot is scheduled for Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Bulloch County Courthouse Square, E Main Street, Statesboro, GA 30458. The event is hosted by the Bulloch County Foundation for Public School Education, a 501(c)(3) organization. Proceeds support the Foundation's teacher innovation grants, college scholarships for REACH Georgia scholars, and local student and teacher recognition programs.

- 100-yard fun run (12 & under)
The event includes individual and team 5K categories, separate employee registration and employee team categories for Bulloch County Schools, and a children’s Fun Run. The route passes through downtown Statesboro’s historic retail and residential neighborhoods. Wagons, strollers, and leashed, family-friendly dogs are permitted. Awards presentations and a 50-50 raffle drawing take place on the Courthouse Square. Participants are encouraged to wear team-themed t-shirts or Thanksgiving costumes.
Registration and packet information
Registration opens August 1, 2025. Registration pricing increases on November 1, 2025. Participants who register early are eligible for race packet giveaways and t-shirts; registrants by October 30, 2025, are guaranteed a race packet and preferred t-shirt size. Registering as a team of five or more provides a reduced per-person fee. Pre-registered participants who register by November 14, 2025, may pick up race packets early on November 21, 2025, at the Bulloch County Board of Education, 150 Williams Road, Statesboro.
