About the race
Freedom Run 5K/10K is an annual Statesboro, Georgia event organized by Georgia Southern University’s Army ROTC Eagle Battalion. The race features a 5K Run/Walk for adults, a 5K Run/Walk for children (12 & under), a 5K Ruck division for participants 13 and older, and a 10K Run, with virtual options available. The course site is 4526 Old Register Rd, with nearby parking and a family-friendly atmosphere that welcomes participants of all ages and abilities.
A portion of proceeds supports Cadet education and training opportunities, including the MSG Christopher Decker Memorial ROTC Scholarship, honoring a fallen servicemember. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
